quarterly.

Edited by Thomas.Y. Simons and William Michel.

Conducted by two physicians, Thomas Y. Simons and William Michel this quarterly journal published interesting extracts from foreign magazines as well as original papers on medicine, science, and agriculture. The papers, some written by the editors themselves, dealt with various diseases--yellow fever, smallpox, and epilepsy, and discussed soils and the culture of rice and the sweet potato, as well as horticulture, and various other science topics. In addition, there was a section of medical and philosophical news, some biographical sketches, and the proceedings of the Agricultural Society.
