This anti-slavery publication was little more than an anti-slavery tract sent out to clergymen and others. Each issue was generally devoted to only one or two lengthy items; contents included essays on slavery, an address of the New York City Anti-Slavery Society, and news items on the progress being made against slavery, as well as poetry and book reviews.
