Become a part of the dream.

Contribute to The Woodford Center for History and the Arts.

Gifts made payable to The Woodford Center for History and the Arts qualify as charitable contributions for federal income, estate and gift tax purposes.

  • Gifts of cash – Cash gifts offer current tax benefits and have the advantage of providing immediate assistance to our programs.
  • Multi-year pledges – These gifts are extended over a period of three to five years. A pledge helps donors make larger gifts than they may have thought possible. Pledge payments may be arranged annually, biannually, quarterly or on a schedule that meets personal situations. Payments may be made by cash, check, credit card authorization, money order or bank draft.
  • Matching gifts – Many corporations, foundations and other organizations will match their employees' gifts to qualified nonprofit institutions. These matches can double, or further multiply, the contribution. They can also be applied to satisfy qualifications for donor recognition.
  • Gifts of appreciated securities – Tax laws make it possible to make an important gift at remarkably low, after-tax cost.
  • Gifts of real estate, personal property and other assets – Real estate, antiques, paintings and other collectibles can be valuable assets for giving. In many cases the same favorable tax rules apply to these gifts as to securities.
  • Deferred gifts – Charitable remainder unitrusts, gift annuities, life insurance and benefits from IRAs and pensions, can be used to the donor's benefit.
